INTRODUCTION:
This is a fantastic opportunity to become a brewer for the weekend and run your own microbrewery. Imagine the fun of making a unique craft real ale; from boiling the water first thing in the morning to adding the yeast at the end of the day.
Not only will you get hands-on experience of beer brewing but these courses include tutored beer tastings and talks on brewing history and beer making. There are also fun quizzes, dinner in a local inn and the chance to really get to know the nuts and bolts about small scale brewing.
Each break is themed with a different beer (and sometimes two) produced at each session.
No prior knowledge or experience is required although the courses are detailed enough to allow those wanting to set up their own mini microbrewery to learn the basics of running a commercial brewery. Most of all, these courses are fun with plenty of free time and pub visits!
