To Her Majesty – Cheers!
22 – 24 April 2012
Break Highlights:
- A right royal beer tasting
- Opportunity to decide on the style of beer for the royal event
- Production of two brews (one 10% one 4%)
- A bottle sent to you in time for the bank holiday
Introduction:
The brewing of special beers for royal events has a long history and we expect there to be a whole raft of special beers to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This is your opportunity to make one of those beers – in fact two of them. From the first runnings we will produce a single case of extra special beer (hopefully getting it up to 10% ABV). From the rest of the mash we will make a much more sensible strength beer for drinking in our local pub over the bank holiday weekend.
